Accreditation

Since 1951, the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) has been dedicated to continuously improving the safety and quality of our nation’s health care through its voluntary accreditation process.

Because we, too, are committed to continuous quality improvement, Madison County Hospital is a voluntary participant in the JCAHO process.

The hospital, our laboratory, and our Home Health and Hospice program are surveyed regularly by JCAHO. All three entities are accredited, demonstrating Madison County Hospital’s commitment to nationally recognized health care standards.
