Scope of this position would include, but not be limited to:

• Hours:  Various
• Arrange efficient and accurate registration of outpatients
• Answer multi-line phones
• Meeting and greeting patients and families
• Obtain patient demographics and enter correctly in computer
• Scan all medical records documents
• Follow guidelines for insurance
• Obtain legal signatures
• Minimum of 35 WPM typing speed
• Requires basic computer skills (Word, Excel)
• Maintain good public relations with all visitors and other department staff members

Qualified candidates will possess knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, BWC, Commercial Insurance, and medical terminology.  Previous experience in healthcare facility, medical office, or insurance company preferred.
