Madison County Hospital Foundation recently awarded a nursing scholarship to hospital employee, Todd Riegel.

The Elizabeth Reese scholarship provides $1,500 to a student enrolled or accepted in a BSN or RN program.

Kelly Snyder, Executive Director of the Foundation said, “This scholarship is given through the Foundation in memory of Elizabeth Reese and provides financial support for individuals wishing to pursue a career in nursing. It is our pleasure to provide assistance to a deserving hospital employee.”

Todd is currently a technician in the MCH maintenance department and has been employed at the hospital for three years.  He is pursuing his nursing degree at Clark State Community College.

Riegel will be asked to fulfill a one-year work commitment to MCH once he graduates and is licensed.
