The
Madison County Hospital Emergency Department, staffed by a qualified, caring team
of physicians and nurses, is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to provide
you urgent medical attention.
Our medical team is linked with the primary
Level I trauma center in Central Ohio through our affiliation with the OSU/Mount
Carmel Health Alliance. If your health situation requires advanced specialized
care, our medical team can stabilize your condition for a safe air or ground transport
by Med Flight of Ohio. Visiting our Emergency Department prior to such a transfer
ensures your safest and quickest recovery.
Our recently remodeled Emergency
Department offers 11 beds in our state-of-the-art facility. Medical Director Jornel
Rivera, D.O., was named Premier Medical Care's 2000 Emergency Physician of the
Year. Premier is a private company that manages and staffs emergency departments
across the United States. |
