Prenatal clinic
The Prenatal Clinic is funded by the Ohio Department of Health/Federal Government, Bureau of Child and Family Health Services and helps to provide care to women who would otherwise be unable to afford prenatal care. Dr. Mitchell Spahn, and Dr. Jennifer Powell, both board certified OB/GYNs, along with their caring staff of professionals, provide obstetrical care for patients. The clinic provides prenatal care and counseling services on a sliding fee scale. Some services, including free pregnancy tests, are provided at Madison County Hospital. A clinic educator answers questions and teaches future mothers about what to expect during pregnancy and other issues related to prenatal care. Patients have unlimited access during pregnancy to a dietician and licensed social worker specializing in prenatal care. Clinic staff can also make referrals to other specialists. For more information or to arrange for a pregnancy test, please call the Prenatal Clinic at 740.845.7316. |
